Born in Hiroshima in 1990, he turned professional in 2011 under 9-Dan master Atsushi Ishida, and is currently affiliated with the Nihon Ki-in Kansai headquarters in Osaka. In 2019, he founded the Osaka Go Dojo, dedicated to nurturing players who are serious about improvement — from those aiming to turn professional to amateurs with goals like competing in national tournaments.
